On June 25, 2025, ACME Sikar Solar Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd., signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The agreement is for 300 MW of solar power at a fixed tariff of ₹3.05 per unit from the Sikar Solar Project in Rajasthan.
The 300 MW project was commissioned on June 23, 2025, ahead of the scheduled deadline. Since it will start supplying power before June 30, 2025, the project qualifies for Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS) charges waiver, benefiting from government incentives for early renewable project completion.
The project was awarded under SECI’s ISTS Tranche XVIII, and the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) approved the tariff on May 30, 2025.
With this agreement, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed capacity reaches 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is operational. The remaining capacity is under construction. The company also has a pipeline of 1,840 MW, for which Letters of Award (LOAs) have been received.
ACME’s portfolio includes 86% off-take through central government bodies and 14% through State Discoms.
Founded in 2015, ACME Solar Holdings is one of India’s leading independent renewable energy producers. Its total portfolio spans 6,970 MW, covering solar, wind, hybrid, and firm & dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects. With strong in-house EPC and O&M capabilities, ACME ensures efficient execution and high-performing operations with best-in-class capacity utilisation factors and margins.
