On Tuesday, the share price of Procter & Gamble Health Limited saw an impressive rise, climbing over 8% and reaching a 52-week high of Rs 5,742.40 on the NSE. The market responded positively to the company’s robust Q2FY25 earnings report, which was announced after market hours on Monday, sparking substantial buying interest in the stock.
For the second quarter of FY25, Procter & Gamble Health reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 82.33 crore, a notable 26% increase from Rs 65.57 crore in the same period last year. This growth reflects the company’s resilient strategy and effective portfolio management. Additionally, revenue from operations reached Rs 313.41 crore, up by 2.7% from Rs 304.93 crore year-on-year (YoY), with total income amounting to Rs 316.69 crore compared to Rs 310.98 crore last year.
Milind Thatte, Managing Director of Procter & Gamble Health India, commented on the results, stating, “Our first quarter results represent a sequential improvement. Our strategy centers on a focused portfolio of trusted brands, where performance drives brand choice.” He emphasized the company’s dedication to expanding consumer awareness and deepening relationships with stakeholders, adding, “We continue to invest in initiatives that address the evolving needs of both consumers and healthcare professionals, alongside strengthening our go-to-market model and distribution reach.”
