Aurionpro Solutions Secures Significant Order for Panvel’s Advanced Urban Security System

On September 11, 2024, Aurionpro Solutions Limited secured a major order from the Municipal Corporation of Panvel (PMC) for the Panvel Safe City initiative, marking a significant milestone in urban security advancements. As the appointed Technology Partner, Aurionpro will spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge surveillance and smart city technologies designed to enhance the safety and security infrastructure of Panvel.

The project encompasses the establishment of advanced Data Centers, a state-of-the-art Control Command Center, and sophisticated Video Analytics capabilities to facilitate real-time monitoring and improved response times. Integral to this initiative are AI-powered technologies, including Facial Recognition systems, an IP-based Public Announcement system, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), and an e-Challan mechanism. These systems are set to create a robust framework for crime prevention and significantly bolster security measures, particularly focusing on safeguarding women.

PMC, which manages an expanded jurisdiction of 110 square kilometers including 29 revenue villages and key CIDCO colonies, has launched the “Safe Panvel Project” to modernisze and upgrade its security infrastructure. This five-year contract, valued at over ₹200 crore, will see the initial phase of implementation completed within the next 12 months. Following this, the project will enter a long-term maintenance and support phase, ensuring ongoing efficiency and effectiveness in the city’s safety measures.
