Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US stocks showed a strong move to the upside over the course of the trading session on Friday. After ending the previous session mixed the major averages all climbed to new record closing highs. The Dow advanced 0.8 percent to 30218 and the Nasdaq climbed 0.7 percent to 12464.

UK stocks rose on Friday to extend gains from the previous session even as Brexit talks continued to drag on with British officials accusing French President Emmanuel Macron of making fresh demands at the eleventh hour. The benchmark FTSE 100 rose by 0.7 per cent to 6538.

Indian shares rose sharply on Friday as the Reserve Bank of India left its key interest rates unchanged for the third straight meeting as widely expected. The benchmark SP BSE Sensex surged by 1 percent to 45080.
