Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading session on Friday before eventually ending the day mixed. Despite the choppy trading the Dow and the SP 500 reached their best closing levels in nearly two months. The Dow edged up by 0.3 percent to 25064 while the Nasdaq fell by 0.2 percent to 7264.

U.K. stocks ended higher on Friday with investors reacting positively to a slew of earnings reports and economic data from the region. Worries about economic slowdown in China hurt but investors bet on hopes the U.S. and China will agree on a trade deal before the March 1 deadline. The FTSE 100 was up by 0.5% to 7020.
