Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks showed a lack of direction over the course of the trading day on Wednesday. The major averages spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The Dow fell 0.2 percent to 26597 and the Nasdaq slipped 0.2 percent to 8102.

U.K. markets fell on Wednesday amid concerns that China will reduce its economic stimulus following some signs of stabilization in the worlds secondlargest economy. FTSE 100 was down by 0.4 percent at 7484.

On domestic front Indian shares rebounded on Wednesday after a threeday fall as expectations of strong earnings in the JanuaryMarch quarter as well as hopes of another rate cut by RBI at its June review helped investors shrug off concerns over elevated oil prices. The benchmark BSE Sensex ended the session up by 1.3 percent at 39054.
