Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
US stocks showed a substantial recovery over the course of the trading day on Tuesday. The major averages climbed well off their early lows with the Dow and the SP 500 reaching positive territory. The Dow ended the day up 0.1 percent at 31537 while the Nasdaq finished the session down 0.5 percent at 13465.
U.K. stocks were little changed on Tuesday as gains in commodityrelated stocks were offset by mixed earnings updates. The benchmark FTSE 100 dipped by 0.1 percent to 6603
Indian shares ended on a flat note yesterday as commodityrelated stocks gained ground offsetting losses in the banking and financial sectors. The benchmark BSE Sensex was flat at 49751.
