Indian markets are likely to open flat tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.
The US stocks fluctuated over the course of the trading day on Thursday but largely maintained a negative bias. The major averages eventually ended the day modestly lower adding to the losses posted in the previous session. The Dow slipped 0.2 percent to 27766 and Nasdaq dipped 0.2 percent to 8506.
The UK stocks were moving lower on Thursday as U.S.China trade worries resurfaced and Jeremy Corbyn prepared to unveil a manifesto to splurge tons of billions of kilos on nationalization and new council homes. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.7 percent to 7210.
On domestic front Indian shares fluctuated before closing lower on Thursday to snap their twoday winning streak. The benchmark BSE Sensex was down by 0.2 per cent to 40575.
