Indian markets are likely to open positive tracking global indices and SGX Nifty.

US Stocks moved mostly higher over the course of the trading day on Wednesday adding to the gains posted in the previous session. With the continued upward move the major averages reached their best closing levels in a month. The Dow climbed 0.6 percent to 24207and Nasdaq rose 0.2 percent to 7034.

U.K. stocks fell on Wednesday and the pound hit a twomonth high against the euro as a crushing defeat to Prime Minister Theresa Mays EU withdrawal agreement raised hopes that politicians can avoid a nodeal Brexit. The FTSE 100 was down by 0.5% to 6854.

On domestic front Indian shares closed marginally higher on Wednesday tracking mixed cues from global markets after British Prime Minister Theresa May suffered an overwhelming defeat over her Brexit deal stoking fresh uncertainty. During the trading session the BSE Sensex ended flat to 36321.
