About Sofcom Systems
Promoted by Kishore Mehta and Ashok Mehta, Sofcom Systems (SSL) was incorporated on 9th Jun.'95, to provide consultancy for software development, mainly targeting the distribution, banking, telecommunication and manufacturing sector.
The company plans to provide software maintainance , re- engineering and downsizing of software application in these market segments. It has signed an MOU with M/s Krislon System Sciences Pvt Ltd for opening of franchise, for computer training institute, at Jaipur under licence from Informatics Holding Ltd., Singapore.
SSL intends to provide higher end, more technically intensive software development services for the domestic market. It plans to use three delivery modes i.e on-site services, India based services, virtual services alongwith main thrust on turnkey projects and application softwares. To part-finance these projects, the company came out with public issue of 31,90,000 equity shares at par aggregating to Rs 3.19 crs.
