Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 15 February, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex down around 50 points or 0.08% at 71,861 while the Nifty-50 up around 30 points or 0.13% at 21,868. About 2,416 shares have advanced, 1,142 declined and 144 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, HDFC Bank and NTPC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Nestle India Ltd and Axis Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.40% and the BSE Small-cap index up 1.40%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd and NHPC Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were 3I Infotech Ltd and Reliance Industrial Infrastructure Ltd.

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Bankex Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index soared 2.15% led by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd while the BSE Bankex Index was down 0.30% dragged down by AU Small Finance Bank and ICICI Bank.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: NBCC (India) Ltd, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd and NMDC Steel Ltd.
