About Dina Iron & Steel
Incorporated as J M Dina Ispat on 14 Jul.'92, Dina Iron and Steel acquired its present name in Sep.'93. The company was promoted by Prabhu Dayal Bhartiya and his associates.
The company set up a project to manufacture wire rods with an installed capacity of 30,000 tpa and two induction furnaces of capacity 6 MT each, at Didarganj, Patna. The company came out with a public issue of 33 lac equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at par aggregating Rs 3.30 cr, in Apr.'96 to part-finance its project.
The Company commissioned its Wire Rod section and commercial production started with effect from 7th January, 2000.
