HCLTech

HCLTech plans to reduce dependence on H-1B visas and has announced salary hikes for employees. The company retained its FY26 revenue growth outlook at 3–5% in constant currency. Services revenue is expected to rise 4–5%. It reported consolidated revenue of ₹31,942 crore for Q2FY26, up 10.67% year-on-year.

Tata Motors

Tata Motors’ demerger takes effect today, splitting its commercial and passenger vehicle businesses. Shareholders will receive one share of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles Limited for every Tata Motors share they hold.

ONGC

ONGC aims to cut its oil production costs by 15% within 2 years, expecting crude prices to stay between $60–$65 per barrel. The company plans to save ₹9,000 crore by FY27, with ₹4,000 crore targeted for FY26.

Avenue Supermarts

The DMart operator is exiting smaller cities to focus on large urban markets. This strategic move is aimed at improving efficiency amid growing competition from quick-commerce platforms.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T)

L&T’s power transmission and distribution unit has secured large grid infrastructure orders worth ₹2,500–₹5,000 crore in West Asia. The projects will strengthen the GCC countries’ interconnection network and improve grid resilience.

KEC International

KEC International bagged new transmission and distribution orders worth ₹1,174 crore in India and the Middle East. These projects reinforce the company’s strong position in the global EPC sector.

Eicher Motors

Eicher Motors announced a restructuring to speed up its electric vehicle (EV) journey. It will merge its EV brand and teams into its main business to enhance focus and efficiency.

Lodha Developers

Lodha Developers acquired a 100% stake in Chaitanya Bilva Pvt Ltd for ₹499.61 crore, adding 8.37 acres of land in Bengaluru to its portfolio. This acquisition strengthens its position in the city’s property market.

Punjab & Sind Bank

The bank plans to raise up to ₹5,000 crore by March 2027 through a mix of equity and bond issues. The proposal will be discussed in the board meeting on October 16.
