Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the latest instalment of ₹2,000 to farmers' bank accounts during an event in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This payout forms part of the ₹6,000 annual support provided under the scheme, issued in three equal instalments.
Farmers who have completed eKYC and have their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts active under DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) will receive the credit.

Launched in February 2019, the PM-KISAN scheme provides annual financial support of ₹6,000 to landholding farmers. The amount is deposited in three equal instalments directly into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through DBT.
The previous, 20th instalment was released on 2 August 2025 in Varanasi, where over 9.7 crore farmers received approximately ₹20,500 crore.
