Quant Small Cap Fund increased its stake in Gland Pharma, Ethos, and Aster DM Healthcare during August 2025, as per the news reports. The fund bought 7.55 lakh shares of Gland Pharma, raising its total to 13.76 lakh shares compared to 6.21 lakh in July 2025. It also added 2.51 lakh shares of Aster DM Healthcare and 16,000 shares of Ethos in the same month.
The fund made a complete exit from 2 companies. It sold 7.20 lakh shares of Siemens Energy India and 14.06 lakh shares of PG Electroplast in August, removing both from the portfolio.
Quant Small Cap Fund reduced stakes in 8 companies, including Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Anupam Rasayan India, Bikaji Foods International, HP Adhesives, India Shelter Finance, Jana Small Finance Bank, One Source Speciality Pharma, and Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts.
In Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, the holding declined to 1.80 crore shares in August from 3.22 crore in July. Around 10.18 lakh shares of Bikaji Foods were sold, while 98,283 shares of One Source Speciality Pharma were also offloaded.
Holdings remained unchanged in about 85 companies, which included Adani Enterprises, Adani Power, Jubilant Pharmova, LIC, NCC, ONGC, RIL, Zydus Wellness, Sula Vineyards, and Vinati Organics.
The fund’s portfolio size stood at 96 stocks in August, compared with 98 in July. Launched in October 1996, Quant Small Cap Fund had an asset base of ₹28,758 crore as of August 29, 2025. The scheme’s investment objective is capital appreciation through exposure to small-cap companies, benchmarked against the Nifty Smallcap 250 – TRI.

In August, Quant Small Cap Fund reshuffled its portfolio with selective additions, complete exits in two counters, and reductions in several stocks, while most positions remained unchanged.
