
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has signed management agreements with Brigade Group entities for 2 hospitality developments in India, as per a filing dated April 6, 2026.
The agreements involve Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) for a project in Chennai and BCV Developers Private Limited for a development in Bengaluru.
The Chennai project, Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR, is planned as a beachfront hotel along the East Coast Road. The property is expected to open in 2029 and will have around 200 rooms.
The hotel will include 5 dining outlets, comprising a signature restaurant, specialty venues, a pool bar, and a lobby lounge. It will also have wellness facilities and multiple event spaces.
The project is expected to cater to business travellers, leisure visitors, and large-format events such as weddings and conferences.
The second project, Hyatt House Bengaluru Devanahalli, is a greenfield development scheduled to open in 2027. The property will have 135 serviced apartments for both short and extended stays.
It is located about 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport and is positioned within the Devanahalli corridor, which includes planned IT parks, the Aerospace Science Park, and a proposed Financial City.
The Bengaluru property will include an all-day dining restaurant, bar, meeting spaces, a swimming pool, and a fitness centre. The location is expected to serve demand from business travellers linked to the surrounding infrastructure developments.
In Chennai, the East Coast Road stretch has seen steady hospitality and real estate activity, supported by tourism and event-led demand.

As of April 7, 2026, 11:07 am, Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd share price was trading at ₹60.23, up 2.33% from the previous closing price.
The 2 developments are expected to be completed in phases, with openings targeted for 2027 and 2029. The projects add to the existing pipeline of hospitality assets in South India, focusing on both premium and extended-stay segments.
