Quant Small Cap Fund, the largest scheme under Quant Mutual Fund, made several adjustments to its portfolio in September 2025. The fund increased exposure to 5 companies and reduced holdings in six.

Increases Stakes in 5 Companies

The scheme added 4.91 crore shares of Adani Power, raising its total holding to 6.04 crore shares from 1.13 crore in August. It also bought 72.27 lakh shares of Zydus Wellness, 13.76 lakh shares of Usha Martin, 4.21 lakh shares of Aster DM Healthcare, and 2.42 lakh shares of Bata India.

Reduces Stake in 6 Stocks

The fund trimmed 23.09 lakh shares of Himadri Speciality Chemical, cutting its holding to 6.74 lakh shares from 29.84 lakh in the previous month. Smaller reductions were made in Anupam Rasayan IndiaBikaji Foods InternationalIndia Shelter Finance CorporationJana Small Finance Bank, and One Source Speciality Pharma.

Complete Exits Recorded

During the month, the fund fully exited 3 companies. These included 5.62 lakh shares of HP Adhesives, 2.82 lakh shares of Laxmi Dental, and 0.39 lakh shares of Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts.

New Stocks Added

The portfolio also saw 2 new entries. The fund bought 36.49 lakh shares of Aptus Value Housing Finance India and 5.03 lakh shares of Intellect Design Arena.

Overall Portfolio Status

At the end of September 2025, the fund held 95 stocks compared to 96 in August. Assets under management stood at ₹29,288 crore as of September 30, 2025. The scheme is benchmarked against the Nifty Smallcap 250 TRI and is managed by a team including Sandeep Tandon and 6 other managers.
