
PhysicsWallah Limited has announced the completion of its acquisition of Nextseed Foundation, a Section 8 company. The development follows the earlier approval granted by the company’s board of directors in February 2026.
With the completion of the transaction, Nextseed Foundation has officially become a wholly owned subsidiary of PhysicsWallah with effect from March 18, 2026.
The acquisition involves the purchase of 100% of the issued and paid-up equity share capital of Nextseed Foundation. The total purchase consideration for the transaction has been fixed at ₹1,00,000.
Section 8 companies in India are non-profit entities established for promoting charitable objectives such as education, research, social welfare and other public benefit initiatives. Through this acquisition, PhysicsWallah expands its involvement in initiatives that support educational and social development.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen PhysicsWallah’s long-term vision in the education sector. By bringing Nextseed Foundation under its corporate structure, the company may explore opportunities to further educational initiatives, community programmes and skill development projects.
Such collaborations and acquisitions also help companies expand their presence in the broader education ecosystem beyond traditional online learning services.
On March 20, 2026, PhysicsWallah share price opened at ₹86.93. At 10:16 AM, the share price of PhysicsWallah was trading at ₹92.72, up by 7.5% on the NSE.
