
The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has announced an interim dividend for the financial year 2025-26.
The decision was made during the board meeting held on March 25, 2026, reflecting the company's commitment to rewarding its shareholders.
IREDA's board of directors declared an interim dividend of ₹0.60 per equity share, which equates to 6% on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of ₹10 each. This dividend is subject to the deduction of tax at source (TDS) as per the Income Tax Act, 1961.
The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders is set for April 2, 2026. The company has committed to disbursing the interim dividend within 30 days of its declaration.
As per the Income Tax Act, 1961, dividend income is taxable in the hands of shareholders. IREDA will deduct TDS at the prescribed rates during the payment of the dividend.
Shareholders wishing for a lower or no TDS deduction must submit the necessary documents, including PAN and forms 15G/15H, by April 2, 2026.
The dividend will be paid exclusively through electronic means, and shareholders are advised to update their bank details with their Depository Participant (DP) to ensure smooth credit of the dividend.
The trading window for IREDA's equity shares and listed debt securities will open on March 28, 2026, 48 hours after the board meeting's conclusion. Shareholders can find further details regarding dividend taxation on the company's website at www.ireda.in.
