
AGI Greenpac, a prominent packaging products company, witnessed a significant surge in its share price following the announcement of its robust Q4FY26 financial results.
The company's shares climbed nearly 16% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), reaching a high of ₹655.
In the March 2026 quarter, AGI Greenpac reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹115 crore, marking a 19.4% increase from ₹97 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, the PAT rose by 61.5% from ₹71 crore in Q3FY26.
The company's revenue from operations stood at ₹742 crore, a 5.3% rise from ₹705 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. In Q3FY26, the revenue was ₹634 crore.
AGI Greenpac's earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (Ebitda), excluding other income, saw a marginal decline to ₹153 crore compared to ₹154 crore in the year-ago period.
For the full fiscal year 2026, AGI Greenpac's revenue from operations reached ₹2,665 crore, up 5.4% from ₹2,529 crore in the previous year.
The PAT for the year increased by 9.1% to ₹352 crore from ₹322 crore in FY25.
On the trading day following the results announcement, AGI Greenpac's stock was trading 15% higher at ₹648.55, compared to the previous session's close of ₹564.90 on the NSE.
The company's market capitalisation stood at ₹4,186 crore. The stock has recovered approximately 40% from its 52-week low of ₹465, recorded on March 30, 2026.
AGI Greenpac has recommended a final dividend of ₹7 per share, equating to a 350% rate on equity shares of ₹2 each, for the year ending March 31, 2026.
This proposal is subject to approval at the company's 66th Annual General Meeting. If approved, the dividend will be credited or dispatched by September 29, 2026, to eligible shareholders.
As of April 28, 2026, at 1:23 PM, AGI Greenpac share price on NSE was trading at ₹643.15 up by 13.85% from the previous closing price.
