Market Recap

On November 14, Sensex gained 84 points to close at 84,561.78, while Nifty 50 held above 25,900, ending the day with positive sentiment.

Tata Motors PV

Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle unit is under pressure after JLR cut its full-year EBIT margin guidance to 0–2%, down from 5–7% earlier. JLR also expects a free cash outflow of £2.2–£2.5 billion. The quarter remained weak with a £485 million loss and a 24% drop in revenue to £24.9 billion.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki has recalled 39,506 Grand Vitara vehicles made between Dec 2024–Apr 2025. A speedometer calibration issue may show incorrect fuel levels. Affected owners will get free inspection and part replacement.

Siemens

Siemens reported mixed results:

  • Revenue up 16% to ₹5,171 crore
  • EBITDA up 13% to ₹618 crore
  • Net profit down 41.5% YoY to ₹485 crore
    The company also saw a 10% rise in new orders, taking the order backlog to ₹42,253 crore.

Inox Wind

Inox Wind posted strong quarterly numbers due to better project execution:

  • Revenue at ₹1,162 crore, up 56%
  • EBITDA at ₹271 crore, up 48%
  • PAT at ₹121 crore, up 43%
    Its order book has crossed 3.2 GW.

Oil India

Oil India reported a solid profit of ₹1,044 crore, up 28% QoQ. Revenue grew 8.9% to ₹5,456 crore. However, EBITDA fell 17.5%, and margins slipped to 24.3%. The company also declared an interim dividend of ₹3.50 per share, with Nov 21 as the record date.

Kotak Mahindra Bank

Kotak Bank’s board will meet on November 21 to discuss a possible stock split. The current face value of each share is ₹5, and investors are awaiting further details.

KPI Green Energy

KPI Green Energy won a ₹696 crore order from SJVN for a 200 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat. The work includes supply, construction, commissioning, and 3-year O&M.

Lupin

Lupin’s Nagpur Unit-1 completed a USFDA inspection with zero observations. This clean report supports its future product approvals and strengthens its compliance record.

Indian Hotels (IHCL)

IHCL is expanding in the wellness segment by buying a 51% stake in Sparsh Infratech, owner of Atmantan Wellness Resort. The company will invest ₹240 crore, valuing the business at ₹415 crore.
