
Indian equity markets are likely to witness stock-specific action in today’s session as investors react to quarterly earnings, strategic developments, regulatory approvals and block deal activity.
Market participants will also closely monitor earnings announcements from several major companies, including State Bank of India, Titan Company, Tata Consumer Products, Swiggy, Hyundai Motor India, Bank of Baroda and JSW Infrastructure.
Lenskart is expected to remain in focus after reports emerged regarding a large block deal valued at nearly $350 million. Around 7.02 crore shares are reportedly being offered at ₹470 per share, representing a discount of nearly 3.6% to the previous closing price.
Existing investors including Birdseye View Holding, TR Capital Mauritius, ABG Capital and Kariba Holdings are said to be participating in the transaction.
Dabur India reported a net profit of ₹368.6 crore for the quarter, registering growth of 15.2% year-on-year. Revenue increased 7.3% to ₹3,038 crore, while EBITDA rose 8% to ₹462 crore, reflecting steady demand across its consumer products portfolio.
MRF posted a strong quarterly performance with net profit rising 38% year-on-year to ₹702 crore. Revenue stood at ₹8,044 crore, up 14%, while EBITDA increased 21.5% to ₹1,305 crore. EBITDA margin improved to 16.2% compared to 15.2% in the corresponding period last year.
Cochin Shipyard announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited, secured a notable domestic order from Ocean Sparkle Limited, an Adani Group company. The order involves the construction of four 70-ton Bollard Pull ASD tugs, strengthening the company’s order pipeline in the marine engineering segment.

South Indian Bank received approval from the Reserve Bank of India allowing Kotak Mahindra Bank to acquire up to 9.99% stake in the bank’s paid-up share capital or voting rights. The development is likely to attract investor attention in the banking space.
Swiggy will remain in focus as the company is scheduled to announce its quarterly earnings today. Investors will closely watch revenue growth, profitability trends and commentary on food delivery and quick commerce businesses.
BSE reported a strong operational performance for the quarter. Net profit surged 61% year-on-year to ₹797 crore, while revenue jumped 85% to ₹1,563 crore. EBITDA stood at ₹1,061 crore with EBITDA margin improving to 68% from 57% a year ago.
Thermax posted healthy earnings growth with net profit rising 18.7% year-on-year to ₹244 crore. Revenue increased 12.5% to ₹3,428 crore, while EBITDA climbed 53.8% to ₹461 crore.
Sonata Software reported a net profit of ₹131 crore, up 25.1% compared to the previous year. Revenue rose 3.9% to ₹3,613 crore, while EBIT improved significantly to ₹1,260 crore.
Thyrocare Technologies delivered strong growth in quarterly earnings. Net profit increased to ₹47 crore from ₹22 crore in the year-ago period, while revenue rose to ₹224 crore from ₹187 crore. EBITDA also improved to ₹75 crore.
Western Ministil signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% stake in Micron Calcite Private Limited. Following completion of the transaction, Micron Calcite will become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Savita Oil Technologies approved a merger scheme involving its wholly owned subsidiary Savita GreenTec Limited. The proposed merger is aimed at internal restructuring and operational streamlining within the group.
Earnings announcements, stake sale activity, banking approvals and fresh project wins are expected to drive stock-specific momentum in today’s trading session. Investors are likely to remain focused on management commentary and forward guidance across sectors.
