The scheme started on March 1, 2024, and provides a fixed monthly amount to women across the state. Over 21 instalments, the government has released ₹13,671.68 crore, based on official data.
The monthly structure is aimed at offering steady assistance that households can use for routine expenses linked to nutrition, healthcare, and schooling.
During the event, the Chief Minister said the administration intends to keep the process regular and transparent so that eligible women continue to receive payments without delays.
He added that the state aims to ensure no qualifying beneficiary is left out of the monthly transfers. Officials present at the programme noted that DBT remains the primary method for distributing funds in order to keep the system straightforward.
As per government data. 67,78,674 women received the instalment this month. The separate allocation for the Niyad Nellanar area reflects regional listings under the scheme.
All transfers were processed through DBT, following the same procedure used since the programme’s launch. Departments confirmed that the instalment has reached accounts across districts.
