The deadline to complete e-KYC for the Maharashtra government’s Ladki Bahin Yojana is fast approaching. Beneficiaries who have not yet completed the mandatory verification process have nine days left before the 31 December cut-off.
Without e-KYC, the next instalment under the women-focused welfare scheme may not be released.
Beneficiaries enrolled under the Ladki Bahin Yojana are required to complete their e-KYC process by 31 December.
The state government has clarified that failure to meet this deadline could result in a pause in instalment payments under the scheme.
The deadline was earlier set for 18 November but was later extended to the end of December due to challenging weather conditions and disaster-like situations across parts of the state.
The e-KYC requirement has been introduced to verify beneficiary details and ensure that financial assistance reaches eligible recipients. By linking identity documents, the process helps maintain accurate records and reduces the risk of duplication or misuse.
Completing e-KYC is therefore essential for the continued disbursal of benefits under the scheme.
To complete the e-KYC process, beneficiaries generally need to provide key identification details, including Aadhaar information and other relevant documents such as PAN, where applicable.
These details are used solely for identity verification purposes.
Beneficiaries can complete their e-KYC by visiting the official Ladki Bahin Yojana portal. After logging in with the required credentials, users must submit the requested documents and verify their details as per the instructions provided on the website.
It is advisable to complete the process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

With only nine days remaining until the 31 December deadline, beneficiaries of the Ladki Bahin Yojana are required to complete their e-KYC to avoid any disruption in instalment payments. Timely verification will help ensure continuity of benefits under the scheme.
