On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Indian stock markets continued to reflect a risk-averse mood, with investors staying cautious due to US President Donald Trump's unwavering position on the upcoming tariff deadline.

The BSE Sensex, after reaching a day’s high of 83,935.29, ended 287.6 points lower at 83,409.69 — a decline of 0.34%. Similarly, the NSE Nifty50  dropped 88.45 points, or 0.35%, to close at 25,453.4.
