Yes Bank reported strong growth for the March 2026 quarter (Q4 FY26), supported by higher income, better margins and improving asset quality.

Yes Bank Q4 FY26 Earnings: Net Profit And Income Growth

The bank posted a standalone net profit of ₹1,068 crore, up 44.7% YoY.

Net Interest Income (NII) grew 16% YoY to ₹2,637.7 crore. Net Interest Margin (NIM) improved to 2.7%, rising 20 basis points YoY and 10 basis points sequentially due to lower deposit costs.

Pre-provision operating profit rose 23.11% YoY to ₹1,618 crore, and for the full FY26, operating profit grew 29.4% YoY to ₹5,506 crore.

Lower Provisions

Provisions stood at ₹187.55 crore in Q4FY26, lower than ₹318.07 crore last year, reflecting improved recoveries and better asset quality.

Asset Quality Improves

The bank’s bad loans continued to decline:

  • Gross NPA: ₹3,604.93 crore, down 10.2% QoQ
  • Net NPA: ₹653 crore, down 2.7% QoQ

Ratios improved:

  • Gross NPA ratio: 1.3% (from 1.5%)
  • Net NPA ratio: 0.2% (from 0.3%)

Loans And Deposits Growth

Business growth remained strong across segments:

  • Advances: ₹2.73 lakh crore, up 11.1% YoY
  • Deposits: ₹3.18 lakh crore, up 12.1% YoY

CASA deposits crossed the important milestone of ₹1 lakh crore, helping reduce the cost of deposits.

Outlook

The bank plans to continue focusing on strengthening its franchise, improving growth quality and building a more resilient business in FY27.

The stock opened at ₹20.64, touched a high of ₹20.71, and a low of ₹20.00 during the session. Over the past year, the stock has recorded a 52-week high of ₹24.30 and a 52-week low of ₹17.20. The company currently does not pay a dividend.
