RailTel share price witnessed a sharp rally on April 15, surging nearly 19% intraday to ₹339.85 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The stock gained momentum after the company announced fresh order wins worth approximately ₹608 crore, triggering strong investor interest.
Opening at ₹300.03, the stock maintained upward momentum throughout the session, reflecting positive sentiment around the company’s growing order pipeline.
The rally was primarily driven by new orders received from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL). RailTel secured two major contracts:
These projects involve deploying integrated communication systems, including VHF, CCTV, public address systems, and emergency call infrastructure.
Additionally, the company bagged a ₹43.96 crore order from the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board for providing support services during recruitment exams.
All projects are domestic in nature and are expected to be completed by April 2028, offering strong revenue visibility over the medium term.
The fresh order inflow reinforces RailTel’s positioning in telecom infrastructure and government-led projects. A robust pipeline not only improves earnings visibility but also enhances investor confidence in the company’s long-term growth prospects.
Importantly, the company clarified that these contracts do not involve related-party transactions, ensuring transparency in deal execution.

RailTel’s sharp rally highlights how strong order wins can act as immediate catalysts for stock performance. The ₹608 crore contracts not only improve revenue visibility but also strengthen the company’s foothold in infrastructure and telecom projects.
While technical indicators remain mixed, sustained order inflows and execution will be key to maintaining momentum.
