
IndusInd Bank Limited has expanded its gold loan services to 500 branches across India. The bank has added 245 more branches to its existing network, making gold loans more easily available to customers nationwide.
This move aims to improve access to secured credit in both urban and rural areas.
Gold loans are seeing strong demand from households, small traders and agriculture-related customers. Many people prefer gold loans because they offer quick access to funds by pledging gold as security.
With this expansion, customers can now get instant loan disbursal of up to ₹1 crore. The bank is offering:
To improve service quality, selected branches will have dedicated Gold Loan Desks to provide personalised support. The pledged gold will remain safely in the bank’s custody, ensuring high security standards.
According to Soumitra Sen, Head – Consumer Banking & Marketing at IndusInd Bank, gold loans have become a reliable financial solution for many customers. Expanding to 500 branches will help households, small businesses and rural communities access timely credit.
The bank also plans to further expand gold loan services across its full branch network over the next year.

IndusInd Bank has been operating for over three decades and offers a wide range of banking services. These include personal loans, microfinance, credit and debit cards, SME loans, vehicle finance, NRI banking and digital banking services.
IndusInd Bank share price (NSE: INDUSINDBK) was trading at ₹932.20 on the NSE at 12:39 pm IST on February 20, up ₹4.85 or 0.52% for the day. The stock opened at ₹934.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹947.90 and a low of ₹928.65. The bank has a market capitalisation of ₹72.21 thousand crore.
