Hindalco Share Price Falls Over 4% on Q3 FY26 Earnings Results: Revenue Rises 14% to ₹66,521 Crore, PAT at ₹2,049 Crore

Hindalco Industries Limited announced its standalone and consolidated unaudited results for the quarter and 9 months ended December 31, 2025. The company reported growth in revenue and operating performance, while net profit was impacted by exceptional items. 

Hindalco Q3 FY26 Earnings Results 

Consolidated revenue from operations stood at ₹66,521 crore in Q3 FY26, up 14% from ₹58,390 crore in Q3 FY25 and marginally higher than ₹66,058 crore in Q2 FY26. For 9M FY26, revenue rose to ₹1,96,811 crore compared to ₹1,73,606 crore in 9M FY25. 

EBITDA for the quarter was ₹8,543 crore, reflecting a 5% YoY increase. Profit Before Tax after exceptional items declined 47% YoY to ₹2,829 crore due to net exceptional expenses of ₹2,610 crore.  

Consolidated Profit After Tax stood at ₹2,049 crore fell by about 45.1% compared to ₹3,735 crore in Q3 FY25. 

India Aluminium Business Performance 

Aluminium upstream revenue reached ₹10,620 crore, up 6% YoY. EBITDA for the segment increased 14% to ₹4,832 crore, with EBITDA per tonne at $1,572 and margins at 45%. Shipments rose to 345 KT from 338 KT in Q3 FY25. 

Aluminium downstream sales stood at 108 KT, up 9%. Revenue increased 22% to ₹3,909 crore, while EBITDA rose 55% to ₹233 crore. EBITDA per tonne was $241.

Novelis Performance 

Novelis Inc reported revenue of $4,186 million in Q3 FY26, up 3%. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $348 million, down 5% due to lower volumes and disruption at the Oswego plant. Shipments declined to 809 KT from 904 KT in Q3 FY25. 

Copper Segment Update 

Copper revenue increased 33% YoY to ₹18,233 crore on higher copper prices. Total metal sales rose 1% to 122 KT, while CCR sales declined 14% to 82 KT. EBITDA for the copper segment stood at ₹595 crore compared to ₹777 crore in Q3 FY25. 

Hindalco Industries Share Price Performance  

As of February 13, 2026, at 9:22 AM, Hindalco Industries share price on NSE was trading at ₹924.05 down by 4.18% from the previous closing price. 

Conclusion 

Hindalco’s Q3 FY26 results show growth in consolidated revenue and operating metrics, supported by India business performance. However, exceptional expenses impacted reported profit during the quarter ended December 31, 2025.
