
Water management stocks represent companies engaged in water supply, treatment, recycling, desalination, and irrigation infrastructure. The sector is gaining importance as India increases investment in water security. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the government has allocated over ₹3.6 lakh crore to expand rural tap water connections across the country.
At the same time, India currently treats only about 27% of its total sewage, highlighting the significant opportunity and need for investment in wastewater treatment and urban water infrastructure in the coming years.

It is transforming from a traditional pipe manufacturer into a full water infrastructure solutions provider. In recent results, the Construction segment generated ₹28,205.69 lakhs, forming the majority of revenue, while pipe sales now contribute less than 10%.
The company also boosted profits through land monetisation, including a ₹173.96 crore Hyderabad land sale. With strong sector support from the Jal Jeevan Mission and a ₹1,137.77 crore JV order, its in-house pipe manufacturing provides cost advantages and better margins.
It has a strong project pipeline with an order book of ₹734.74 crore. The company expects FY revenue above ₹350 crore and projects ₹375–₹400 crore revenue in FY2026-27, implying about 30% growth. It has already secured ₹50 crore in firm orders and is bidding for additional projects worth ₹200 crore. Around 40–60% of its projects are supported by government programs like the Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat, with timely funding from central and Karnataka governments supporting stable cash flows.
It has shown strong growth in the water and wastewater infrastructure sector. As of December 31, 2025, the company reported an order book of ₹1,903 crore for water and wastewater projects and ₹933 crore for operation and maintenance services. In FY2026, it secured order inflows of about ₹1,500 crore, including a ₹250 crore sewerage infrastructure project. The company is also executing a ₹395 crore pollution control project in Maharashtra, highlighting its strong execution capabilities across multiple states.
It is a global water technology company with a strong order book exceeding ₹163 billion (₹16,300 crore), providing long-term revenue visibility. The order book includes 64% EPC projects and 36% Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services, ensuring a balanced revenue stream.
Nearly 50% of projects come from international markets, strengthening global presence. The company is currently executing major desalination and wastewater treatment projects, which are progressing well and are expected to support steady revenue growth in the coming years.

India’s water sector is entering a strong growth phase driven by government initiatives, rising urbanisation, and increasing demand for wastewater treatment and clean water infrastructure. Companies such as Indian Hume Pipe, Denta Water, Enviro Infra Engineers, and Va Tech Wabag are well positioned to benefit from these long-term structural opportunities.
While some companies offer strong profitability and low valuations, others provide large order books and global exposure.
