
ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the commissioning of the second phase of its battery energy storage project in Rajasthan through its subsidiary. The update reflects progress in capacity addition within its renewable energy portfolio.
Following the development, the company’s shares recorded gains during the morning trading session on 25 March 2026.
ACME Solar Holdings Limited confirmed that its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Surya Power Private Limited, has commissioned the second phase of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project.
This phase adds 35.714 MW / 160.48 MWh capacity to the project located in Bikaner. The commercial operation date (COD) for this phase is scheduled for 26 March 2026.
The total planned capacity of the BESS project stands at 250 MW / 1103.392 MWh. With the commissioning of Phase II, the company’s operational capacity has reached 95.714 MW / 430.086 MWh.
Battery energy storage systems play a role in improving grid stability and managing intermittent renewable energy supply, particularly in regions with high solar generation.
Shares of ACME Solar Holdings Limited moved higher in early trading on 25 March 2026, opening above the previous close and maintaining gains during the session. The stock was trading at ₹256.50, up ₹7.40 or 2.97%, compared to its previous close of ₹249.10. During the day, it touched a high of ₹257.75 and a low of ₹251.00, indicating a positive but measured market response to the update.
