
Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited has announced the completion of its stake divestment in Infina Finance Private Limited through its subsidiary.
The update, disclosed to stock exchanges, marks a structural change in the bank’s association with the entity.
Meanwhile, the bank’s shares recorded gains during the morning trading session, reflecting market reaction to the development.
Kotak Mahindra Bank confirmed that the transaction involving Infina Finance Private Limited has been completed on 24 March 2026. The sale was executed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited.
Following the completion of the deal, Infina Finance Private Limited is no longer classified as an associate company of the bank. The disclosure was formally submitted to both major stock exchanges in India in line with regulatory requirements.
The exit from Infina Finance Private Limited represents a change in the bank’s investment structure. Such transactions are typically undertaken to streamline operations, reallocate capital, or align with broader strategic priorities.
While the bank has not detailed the financial implications in this update, the change removes Infina from its list of associated entities going forward.
Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank moved higher in early trading on 25 March 2026, opening above the previous close and sustaining gains through the session. The stock was trading at ₹375.50, up ₹8.65 or 2.36%, compared to its previous close of ₹366.85. During the day, it touched a high of ₹377.00 and a low of ₹368.95.
