NFO Alert: Bandhan Mutual Fund Launches Healthcare Fund

Bandhan Mutual Fund has launched a new sectoral fund called Bandhan Healthcare Fund. The New Fund Offer (NFO) will open on November 10, 2025, and close on November 24, 2025. It is an open-ended equity scheme focused on the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector. Investors can start with a minimum investment of ₹1,000.
Scheme Objective
The fund aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in equity and equity-related instruments of companies from the healthcare, pharma, and allied industries. This includes firms engaged in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, hospitals, diagnostics, and medical equipment.

Sectoral funds generally focus on a single industry, which means the fund’s returns will depend on how the healthcare and pharma segment performs over time.
Fund Management
The fund will be managed by Viraj Kulkarni, representing Bandhan Asset Management Company Limited. The Registrar and Transfer Agent for the scheme is Computer Age Management Services Ltd (CAMS).
Investment Terms
There is no lock-in period for the fund. However, investors redeeming their units within 30 days from the date of allotment will incur an exit load of 0.5%. The fund is available in Regular and Direct plans, offering Growth and IDCW options.
Key Information
The fund will invest exclusively in companies connected to healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Since it is a sectoral scheme, returns may vary based on market and policy movements within the healthcare sector.
