
In April 2026, Edelweiss Mutual Fund managed assets valued at ₹1.96 lakh crore. The fund house's investment strategy included significant holdings in prime companies such as BSE, ICICI Bank, and MCX, as per a report from Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
Among the top holdings, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank held significant positions with allocations of 3.3% and 2.5% respectively. While the weight of both these banks decreased slightly, they remain pivotal within the fund's portfolio.
Additionally, Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) featured prominently, with allocations of 2.4% and 2.2% respectively. The portfolio saw an uptick in MCX shares, increasing its weight by 0.3%.
The fund allocated 1.7% each to Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro (L&T). The purchase of 50,000 shares of L&T led to a 0.1% increase in its portfolio weight, although Bharti Airtel saw a slight decline in its weight.

Investments in the State Bank of India (SBI) and Federal Bank accounted for 1.6% and 1.4% of the fund's holdings respectively.
While the weight in SBI slightly decreased, Federal Bank's position remained stable throughout April.
Edelweiss Mutual Fund's commitment to Fortis Healthcare and BSE was notable, with each holding 1.2% of the portfolio.
A purchase of 3.3 lakh shares in BSE increased its weight by 0.4%, maintaining the balance within the healthcare sector.
