Mirae Asset Mutual Fund’s December Portfolio: ITC and HDFC Bank Lead Top 10 Picks

Mirae Asset Mutual Fund had assets under management of ₹2.33 lakh crore as of December 31, 2025, as per Motilal Oswal data. During the month, the fund house managed 90 mutual fund schemes.  

Equity investments were spread across banking, IT, consumer goods, telecom and infrastructure stocks. The top ten holdings consisted largely of large-cap companies. 

Banking Stocks 

Banking stocks formed the largest portion of the portfolio in December. HDFC Bank was the biggest holding with a 7.1% allocation. Its weight declined by 0.1 percentage point compared with November.  

ICICI Bank had a portfolio weight of 4.9%, lower by 0.2 percentage point month-on-month. Axis Bank stood at 3.2%, unchanged from the previous month. 

Consumer and Technology Stocks 

ITC had an allocation of 3% in December. There was no change in its weight compared with November. In the technology segment, Infosys had a 2.8% allocation.  

Its portfolio weight declined by 0.4 percentage point during the month. TCS accounted for 2.4% of the portfolio. Around 4.42 lakh shares were added, resulting in a 0.1 percentage point increase in weight. 

PSU, Telecom and Infrastructure Stocks 

State Bank of India and Reliance Industries each had an allocation of 2.6%. Their portfolio weights remained unchanged from the previous month.  

Bharti Airtel and Larsen & Toubro each accounted for 2.2% of the portfolio. The weight of both stocks declined by 0.1 percentage point in December.

Conclusion 

The top ten holdings saw minor month-on-month changes, with most allocations either unchanged or adjusted marginally during December.
