JioBlackRock Mutual Fund has received approval from SEBI to launch its latest offering: the JioBlackRock Large Cap Fund. The fund’s primary objective is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing mainly in equities and equity-related instruments of large-cap companies.

The performance of the fund will be benchmarked against the BSE 100 Index (TRI). The scheme will be actively managed by experienced professionals Tanvi Kacheria and Sahil Chaudhary, who will guide investment decisions and portfolio construction.

Plan Options and Investment Details

  • The scheme will be available only as a direct plan with a growth option.
  • Lump-sum Investment: Minimum of Rs 500, with additional investments in multiples of Re 1.
  • SIP (Systematic Investment Plan): Minimum of Rs 500 per month, in multiples of Re 1, with a minimum commitment of six installments.

Asset Allocation

The fund will invest according to the following allocation:

  • 80–100% in equities and equity-related instruments of large-cap companies
  • 0–20% in equities of other than large-cap companies
  • 0–20% in debt and money market instruments
  • 0–10% in units issued by InvITs

Investment Strategy

The JioBlackRock Large Cap Fund will follow an active investment approach, combining systematic stock selection with strategic portfolio construction. This allows fund managers to respond proactively to market changes and emerging opportunities, ensuring a dynamic investment approach.
