ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Filed Draft for iSIF Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund with SEBI

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has introduced a new interval scheme under its Specialized Investment Fund (SIF) platform, named the iSIF Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund.
This scheme has been filed as a draft with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on March 23, 2026, aiming to provide investors with a dynamic asset allocation strategy.
Dynamic Asset Allocation Strategy
The iSIF Active Asset Allocator Long-Short Fund is designed as an open-ended growth-oriented strategy.
It dynamically allocates investments across various asset classes, including equity (35-80%), debt/money market instruments (10-55%), REITs/InVITs (up to 20%), and exchange-traded commodity derivatives.
The fund also includes up to 25% unhedged short exposure via derivatives for hedging and alpha generation.
The benchmark for this fund is a composite of 50% Nifty 500 TRI, 40% Nifty Composite Debt Index, 7% Domestic Gold Price, and 3% Domestic Silver Price.
Liquidity and Investment Terms
The fund offers daily subscriptions at NAV, with a minimum initial investment of ₹10,00,000 and additional investments starting at ₹10,000.
These requirements are waived for accredited or existing SIF investors.
Redemptions are available twice weekly, on Monday and Wednesday, or the next business day, with proceeds provided within 3 business days.
An exit load of 1% applies if investments are withdrawn within 12 months.
Fee Structure and Plans
The fund offers both Regular and Direct Plans, with a growth option only. The maximum Total Expense Ratio (TER) is capped at 2% for the first ₹500 crore.
New investors with less than ₹10,00,000 aggregate investment are not eligible for SIPs, although existing investors qualify at lower amounts.
The New Fund Offer (NFO) units are priced at ₹10 face value.
Management Team
The fund is managed by a team of experienced professionals, including Naren Sankaran (CIO), Ihab Dalwai (equity), Sharmila D’silva, Manish Banthia (CIO-Fixed Income), Akhil Kakkar, and Gaurav Chikane (commodities).
It is tailored for long-term investors who are comfortable with derivatives risk and interval liquidity.
