Topping the list is Quant Small Cap Fund, which turned ₹1 lakh into ₹5.14 lakh with a CAGR of 26.35%. Other top performers include Motilal Oswal and Nippon India funds.
As per the Economic Times report, out of 233 funds analysed, six managed to grow lumpsum investments by over four times in seven years:

While these six funds stood out, 168 other equity funds multiplied lumpsum investments between 1.98x and 3.89x during the same period.

These results highlight the power of long term equity investing. While the average mutual fund delivered respectable growth, the standout performers led by Quant Small Cap Fund significantly outpaced their peers, rewarding investors who stayed invested over the full seven years.
