Reliance Retail has expanded its presence in the beauty segment by introducing an Ayurvedic personal care brand under its Tira platform, as per news reports. The newly launched brand, Puraveda, represents a fusion of India’s age-old wellness traditions with the precision of modern science. This move reflects Tira’s growing focus on holistic self-care and conscious beauty.
Bhakti Modi, Co-founder and CEO of Tira, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce Puraveda, a brand that embodies the powerful harmony of India’s timeless wellness heritage and the precision of modern innovation.”
She further added that Tira aims to redefine beauty by curating offerings that transcend aesthetics and inspire a deeper connection to self-care. With this new brand, Tira hopes to make holistic beauty both thoughtful and accessible to consumers.
Puraveda has been launched with an impressive portfolio of 50 products that cover skincare, haircare, and body care. These products are formulated around 4 distinct, ingredient-led ranges, each designed with a unique wellness focus. Dhara provides deep nourishment, powered by Chandan, D-Panthenol, and Lavender. Niyama is crafted to encourage mindful rituals using ingredients like Kumkumadi, Squalane, and Vetiver. Sama promotes harmony and calm through Gulaab, Tocopherol, and Hibiscus, while Urja focuses on revitalising and energising the skin with Mulethi, BHA, and Mogra.
Each collection under the Puraveda brand is rooted in a signature blend of Ayurvedic hero ingredients combined with clinically proven compounds. The result is a sensorial beauty experience that is indulgent and effective, promoting balance, vitality, and holistic well-being. Tira’s introduction of Puraveda reinforces its commitment to beauty that is as conscious as it is contemporary.
