
Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited announced its consolidated unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025.
The defence equipment manufacturer demonstrated strong profitability growth driven by robust order execution across optics and optronic systems and defence engineering segments, benefiting from India's expanding defence manufacturing ecosystem and Make in India initiatives.
For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, Paras Defence achieved consolidated revenue from operations of ₹105.72 crore, registering growth of 21% YoY and 13% QoQ. Total income stood at ₹108 crore, up 22% YoY and 13% QoQ compared to the respective periods.
Profit before tax reached ₹26.58 crore, marking an expansion of 46% YoY and 37% QoQ. Profit after tax stood at ₹19.46 crore, demonstrating strong growth of 53.23% YoY and 36.37% QoQ. Basic and diluted earnings per share were ₹2.56 for the quarter compared to ₹1.78 in Q2 FY25, post equity share subdivision from ₹10 to ₹5 face value.
For the half year ended September 30, 2025, consolidated revenue from operations reached ₹198.91 crore, up 17% from ₹170.66 crore in H1 FY25. Total income totalled ₹203.57 crore, reflecting 18% growth year on year.
Half year PBT stood at ₹46.03 crore, growing 22% from ₹37.66 crore previously. PAT attributable to owners came to ₹35.51 crore, up 24% from ₹28.71 crore in H1 FY25. Earnings per share for the half year were ₹4.41, up 20% YoY.

Optics and Optronic Systems segment recorded revenue of ₹38.44 crore in Q2 FY26 with segment result of ₹18.65 crore.
The segment includes optical components and subsystems like space optics, gratings, mirrors, infrared lenses for night vision devices, opto mechanical assemblies, precision diamond turned components, submarine periscopes, hyperspectral cameras and EO/IR systems.
Defence Engineering segment delivered revenue of ₹67.28 crore with segment result of ₹16.86 crore.
The segment comprises defence electronics including defence automation and control systems, rugged command and control consoles, avionic suites, heavy engineering with flow formed rockets and missile motor tubes, electromechanical assemblies, remote controlled border defence systems, turnkey projects and electromagnetic pulse protection solutions.
During H1 FY26, the Board of Directors and shareholders approved subdivision or split of existing 1 equity share having face value of ₹10 each into 2 equity shares having face value of ₹5 each.
Accordingly, basic and diluted EPS for comparative periods have been restated considering the number of equity shares with face value of ₹5 each in accordance with Ind AS 33 on Earnings per Share.
During FY25, the company approved Paras Defence and Space Technologies Limited Employee Stock Option Plan 2024 for employees of the company, its subsidiary and associate companies, comprising equity shares not exceeding 7,95,000 in one or more tranches.
As of September 30, 2025, the company has granted 78,450 options in 3 different tranches. Employee benefits expense for Q2 and H1 FY26 includes share based payment of ₹0.33 crore and ₹0.66 crore respectively.
Shareholders approved a dividend of ₹0.50 per equity share at Annual General Meeting held on August 21, 2025. The Board also approved reappointment of Mr Suresh Katyal as Non Executive Independent Director for second term of 5 years effective January 5, 2026 to January 4, 2031, subject to shareholders approval through postal ballot.
