
NBCC (India) Ltd has received a work order worth ₹340.17 crore from the Central University of Kashmir. The contract involves construction work for Phase I of the university’s campus at Tulmulla, Ganderbal, as per the exchange filings.
The scope of work includes project management consultancy (PMC) services. The order has been awarded by a domestic client and is part of the company’s regular business activities.
According to the company’s filing, the total value of the contract is ₹340.17 crore, excluding GST. The work pertains to infrastructure development for the university. NBCC clarified that the project does not involve any related party transactions and that no promoter or group company has any interest in the entity awarding the contract.
The time period for project completion was not specified in the filing.
NBCC recently announced another order worth ₹350.31 crore from the Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF). That contract includes PMC services for major civil works at HVF and AVNL Estate. Both work orders fall under the company’s routine business and add to its portfolio of government and institutional projects.
In Q2FY26, NBCC reported a consolidated net profit of ₹153.5 crore, up from ₹122 crore in the same period last year, showing an increase of about 26%. Revenue from operations rose 19% year-on-year to ₹2,910.2 crore from ₹2,446 crore.
The company’s EBITDA stood at ₹100.8 crore, compared with ₹100.3 crore a year earlier. Operating margins came in at 3.5%, slightly lower than 4% in the previous year.
The board has declared a second interim dividend of ₹0.21 per share for FY26, with November 19, 2025, as the record date.
