ITC Limited reported a steady financial performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025.
The company’s standalone gross revenue, excluding the agri-business segment, stood at ₹19,148 crore, marking a 7.1% year-on-year growth. This rise was primarily driven by robust performances in its Cigarettes and FMCG segments.
The standalone EBITDA grew 2.1% YoY, while EBITDA margin expanded by 185 basis points to 35.1%. The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) increased 4.1% YoY, reflecting strong operational efficiency and cost management.
On a consolidated basis, ITC recorded revenue growth of 7.9% YoY (ex-agri business) and EBITDA growth of 2.2% YoY. Subsidiaries such as ITC Infotech India Limited and ITC Hotels Limited demonstrated strong operating performances, while Surya Nepal Private Limited maintained resilience despite disruptions in Nepal during September 2025.
The FMCG – Others segment sustained healthy revenue growth of 8% YoY (excluding notebooks), despite facing operational challenges from excessive rains and the transition to a new GST regime. Categories such as staples, dairy, premium personal wash, and agarbattis were key growth drivers.
The segment’s EBITDA margin improved 50 bps sequentially to 10%, aided by stabilising commodity prices and cost optimisation initiatives. ITC’s strong presence in digital-first and organic product portfolios contributed significantly, with ARR reaching approximately ₹1,100 crore. The company also passed on GST rate reductions (over 50% of its FMCG portfolio) to consumers, reinforcing its value proposition.
The Cigarettes segment continued to perform strongly, with net segment revenue up 6.8% YoY. Growth was supported by premium product launches, market interventions, and efforts to counter illicit trade. Leaf tobacco procurement costs remained elevated, though moderation was seen in the latest crop cycle.
The Paper segment posted a 5% YoY revenue growth, with profits up 17% sequentially. The Agri Business segment experienced a high-base impact but maintained healthy H1 growth, supported by strong crop quality and customer relationships.
On October 31, 2025, ITC share price opened at ₹420.50, up from its previous close of ₹418.75. At 10:51 AM, the share price of ITC was trading at ₹426.20, up by 1.78% on the NSE.
