India’s competition regulator has granted clearance to a ChrysCapital-led consortium to acquire equity in Nash Industries (India) Private Limited, paving the way for the private equity firm to invest in the fast-growing electronics and precision manufacturing space.
The approved transaction involves the acquisition of a stake in Nash Industries by 3 ChrysCapital affiliates: ChrysCapital Fund X, Two Infinity Partners and Blue Wave Investments Limited.
Together, the entities will acquire a portion of the company’s equity share capital. The regulator concluded that the proposed combination does not raise competition concerns under prevailing antitrust norms.
Nash Industries operates in the box-build and metal stamping segment, supplying engineered electronic and mechanical components.
The Bengaluru-based company caters to a diversified customer base across sectors such as data centres, defence and aerospace, healthcare equipment, power protection systems, IT and AI hardware, and gaming.
Its positioning aligns with rising domestic and global demand for high-precision manufacturing and electronics assembly.
For ChrysCapital, the investment strengthens its exposure to India’s manufacturing and electronics ecosystem, particularly in segments benefiting from localisation, defence indigenisation and data infrastructure expansion.
The firm’s multi-entity investment structure allows flexibility across growth and scale-up opportunities within the target business.
