As per the news reports, Apollo Tyres has officially taken over as the new sponsor of the Indian cricket team, following the termination of Dream11’s contract. The deal stretches until 2027 and promises significant brand visibility for Apollo, especially given India's fully packed international schedule.
On September 16, 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Apollo Tyres as the new jersey sponsor for the national cricket teams. The agreement will see Apollo pay ₹4.5 crore per match to the BCCI, up from Dream11's earlier contribution of ₹4 crore. This makes it one of the most valuable sponsorship deals in Indian cricket in recent years.
Dream11’s exit follows the government's ban on real money gaming under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act. The Act prohibits companies from advertising or offering online money games, leading to uncertainty and revenue losses across fantasy gaming platforms. Consequently, Dream11 discontinued its association with the Indian cricket team starting with the 2025 Men's Asia Cup.
This partnership positions Apollo Tyres for heightened global exposure, as Team India participates in a dense calendar of international fixtures. The brand's presence on men's and women's cricket jerseys is expected to enhance its visibility across key markets.

Currently, neither the men’s team in the ongoing Asia Cup nor the women's team in their series against Australia carry any sponsor on their jerseys. It remains to be confirmed if Apollo Tyres will feature on the women’s team kits for the upcoming Women’s World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from September 30, 2025.
The ₹4.5 crore per match deal not only surpasses Dream11’s commitment but also provides BCCI with a stronger revenue inflow. This is particularly significant in light of recent structural changes affecting gaming and sponsorship revenue streams within the sporting ecosystem.
Apollo Tyres replaced Dream11 as the Indian cricket team sponsor in a landmark partnership running through 2027. With a ₹4.5 crore per-match contract, Apollo steps into a lucrative branding opportunity, though uncertainties remain about the women’s team kit integration ahead of the Women’s World Cup.
