
The Indian automobile sector reported a 19% rise in passenger vehicle (PV) dispatches during November 2025, as per data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). Strong demand persisted beyond the festive season, driving the surge in dispatch volumes to dealers.
Passenger vehicle dispatches reached 4,12,405 units in November 2025, marking an 18.7% increase compared to 3,47,522 units in November 2024. Leading manufacturer Maruti Suzuki dispatched 1,70,971 units, witnessing 21% growth from the 1,41,312 units last year.
Mahindra & Mahindra recorded a 22% increase, dispatching 56,336 units compared to 46,222 units in the same period. Hyundai Motor India reported a more modest rise, billing 50,340 units, up 4% from 48,246 units last November.
The 2-wheeler segment witnessed a 21% surge in dispatches, reaching 19,44,475 units in November 2025 from 16,04,749 units in November 2024. Scooters saw the strongest growth within the category, increasing 29% with 7,35,753 units sold, up from 5,68,580 units.
Motorcycle sales rose 17.5% to 11,63,751 units compared to 9,90,246 units previously. Moped sales dipped slightly by 2%, down to 44,971 units from 45,923 units last year.

3-wheeler dispatches reached 71,999 units in November 2025, rising 21% year-on-year. The combination of continued consumer demand and supportive government reforms under GST 2.0 was cited as contributing factors to the industry’s performance across all vehicle categories this month.
Passenger vehicle, 2-wheeler, and 3-wheeler segments all recorded increased dispatches in November 2025. With overall sales showing strength beyond the festive season, the data reflects consistent demand in India’s automotive market.
