Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 06 May, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 260 points or 0.35% at 74,137, while the Nifty-50 was up around 24 points or 0.13% at 22,507. About 1,209 shares have advanced; 2,384 declined and 206 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and IndusInd Bank while the top Sensex losers were NTPC Ltd, State Bank of India and Titan Company Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower with the BSE Mid-cap index down 1.02% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.82%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Godrej Properties Ltd and Deepak Nitrite Ltd. In contrast, Anup Engineering Ltd and Gokul Agro Resources Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Teck Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Consumer Durables Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Teck Index gained by 1.10%, up by Route Mobile Ltd and LTI Mindtree Ltd while the BSE Consumer Durables Index is down by 3.15% dragged by Rajesh Exports Ltd and Whirlpool of India Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Rainbow Children’s Medicare Ltd, ABB India Ltd and Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd.
