Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 02 May, 2024

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 207 points or 0.28% at 74,690, while the Nifty-50 was up around 56 points or 0.25% at 22,661. About 1,797 shares have advanced; 1,217 declined and 114 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd and NTPC Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Wipro Ltd, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and Kotak Mahindra Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.21% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.69%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Power Finance Corporation Ltd and Federal Bank. In contrast, Atul Auto Ltd and Ram Ratna Wires Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index gained by 1.35%, up by NHPC Ltd and ABB India Ltd while the BSE Realty Index is down by 1.1% dragged by The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Godrej Properties Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Tata Power Ltd and REC Ltd.
