Wipro Limited has announced the acquisition of Mindsprint Pte. Ltd. and its subsidiaries for a purchase consideration of $375 million.  

This strategic move is part of a broader engagement with Olam Group, a leading food and agri-business. 

Details of the Acquisition 

Wipro has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% shareholding in Mindsprint, an IT services arm of Olam Group. The acquisition aligns with Wipro's strategy to strengthen its capabilities in digital transformation and IT services.  

The transaction is expected to be completed by June 30, 2026, subject to regulatory approvals in Saudi Arabia and Australia. 

Mindsprint, headquartered in Singapore, provides technology and digital transformation services across various domains, including enterprise applications, data & analytics, and cybersecurity. 

With a global workforce of over 3,200 employees, Mindsprint has a strong presence in India, Singapore, the US, the UK, and the Middle East. 

Strategic Partnership with Olam Group 

As part of the acquisition, Wipro has secured a multi-year strategic transformation deal with Olam Group. This 8-year engagement is valued at over $1 billion, with a committed spend of $800 million.  

Wipro will leverage its consulting-led and AI-powered approach to enhance Olam Group's core operations and create a sustainable competitive advantage.

Financial Details and Impact 

The acquisition of Mindsprint is valued at $375 million, subject to customary closing adjustments. Mindsprint's consolidated revenues for the last 3 years were $118.9 million (CY23), $130.5 million (CY24), and $135.6 million (CY25).  

This acquisition is expected to bolster Wipro's offerings in the IT sector and enhance its market position.
