Wipro has announced the payment of an interim dividend of ₹6 per equity share with a face value of ₹2 each for eligible shareholders.
Investors whose names appeared in the company’s records as of the record date, January 27, 2026, qualify to receive this dividend. The company has confirmed that the interim dividend payment will be completed on or before February 14, 2026.
Dividend payments are typically credited directly to shareholders’ bank accounts registered with their demat accounts, ensuring a smooth and timely distribution process. Investors holding shares before the ex-date and record date become eligible for dividend benefits.
Wipro has maintained a consistent dividend payout record in recent periods. Prior to the current payout, the company distributed an interim dividend of ₹5 per share in July 2025 and ₹6 per share in January 2025.
To understand the payout impact, consider an investor holding 100 shares of Wipro on the record date.
At ₹6 per share, the total dividend amount payable would be ₹600. This amount is credited directly to the shareholder’s registered bank account, subject to applicable tax deductions as per income tax rules.
Dividend income may be taxable in the hands of investors based on prevailing tax regulations, so shareholders should account for tax implications while calculating net returns.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, the company reported gross revenue of ₹235.6 billion ($2,622.0 million), reflecting a growth of 3.8% quarter-on-quarter and 5.5% year-on-year.
Revenue from the IT services segment stood at $2,635.4 million, marking an increase of 1.2% compared to the previous quarter and a modest 0.2% rise over the same period last year.
However, net income for the quarter declined to ₹31.2 billion ($347.2 million), down 3.9% sequentially and 7.0% on a year-on-year basis.
