The Indian stock market is likely to start Wednesday’s session on a weaker note amid subdued global market cues.

Larsen & Toubro

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) clarified that the oil project tenders in Kuwait, which are reportedly facing cancellation risks, are not included in its existing order book. The statement from L&T was aimed at addressing investor concerns after the stock witnessed a sharp decline following the media report.

Tata Elxsi

Tata Elxsi reported a steep 45% year-on-year fall in its profit for the third quarter. The decline in Tata Elxsi’s earnings was primarily due to a one-time expense linked to the implementation of India’s new labour codes, which impacted overall profitability during the quarter.

ICICI Lombard

ICICI Lombard General Insurance posted a decline in its third-quarter profit as higher payouts to agents and employees weighed on earnings. Despite strong growth momentum in the retail health and motor insurance segments, the increased expense base impacted ICICI Lombard’s bottom line.

Just Dial

Just Dial reported a 10.2% year-on-year drop in net profit to ₹117.9 crore for the third quarter, compared with ₹131.3 crore in the same period last year. At the same time, Just Dial’s revenue rose 6.4% to ₹305.6 crore, while EBITDA increased 9.6% to ₹95.2 crore, reflecting steady operating performance.

NLC India

NLC India, the Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Coal, has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with the Government of Gujarat. The MoU outlines plans to develop large-scale renewable energy projects in the state, with a proposed investment of around ₹25,000 crore.

Indian Overseas Bank

Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) announced that its Asset Liability Management Committee reviewed the marginal cost of funds-based lending rate (MCLR) and approved a 5 basis points reduction in the overnight MCLR. The revised rate will come into effect from January 15, 2026, following the ALCO meeting held on January 13, 2026.

Interach Building Solutions

Interach Building Solutions has secured a domestic contract worth approximately ₹130 crore. The order involves the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, and erection of a pre-engineered steel building system, strengthening Interach Building Solutions’ domestic project portfolio.
